While searching for pictures of our invites I came across these snapshots of the flowers taken just hours before our wedding. A few weeks prior, one of the moms at school volunteered to make the bouquets for our wedding party using flowers that the families grew themselves. (She's the creativity behind Garden Bella Wedding and Event Floral Design.) Soon, her offer turned into something much more! Money was raised and all the sudden we had buckets and buckets of sunflowers, hydrangeas, day lilies, snapdragons, and more. My bouquet was incredible because it had an assortment of all of the flowers donated and/or picked by the families at school. It felt so incredible to be able to involve the kids like that on such a special day. At the last minute she realized that there were plenty of flowers left for the tables and even for the ceremony area. Magic really does happen, guys...
