Dear little blog,
I'm sorry for neglecting you this week. It's been like this: work, home, print shop, home, work, home, print shop... you get the idea. My brain is so computered-out that this morning I woke up early to edit some documents and email them to the shop, but I only managed to send instructions for printing and completely left out the files. Oops.
Anyway, on Tuesday I took a trip to Singleton Fiber Mill to return the rental spinning wheel. I thought the truck looked hilarious with an apple, sweet potato, roving, and a huge wheel. Mary also had our pokeberry wool ready and turned into roving. It's such a beautiful rusty, pinkish red color. She also wound up all the experimental yarn that I had spun. We really need to buy a spinning wheel because there's way more roving to come. Like WAAAAAAY more.
By the way, my projected launch date for the O&A Etsy shop is by Sunday night. Printing, photographing, and listing everything is turning out to be much more labor-intensive than expected. There's not enough time in the day! Good things are getting done though, even if I wish it were happening faster. So far I've made autumn themed photo sets, prints of illustrations, and sweet little greeting cards with my drawings on them tied up with yarn.
Love,
McKenzie
ps. Friends, I hope you're having a busy and productive week too (minus the scatter-brained-ness). :)

can't wait for your etsy shop :)
