I've basically been living on Illustrator this week, especially after Becca taught me some basics like how to hold down shift while resizing an image so the proportions stay the same. (I didn't say I was skilled at it!)
Right now I'm working on making a series of my autumn themed photographs for the Etsy page. Since I was fortunate to grow up in the age of real film, there's a strong desire to see photos hanging on the walls and picture frames on the living room side tables. Now that everything is digital, it's so easy to forget about that! I finished formatting the last series in a set of four groupings last night. I'm so excited to go get my test prints tomorrow! These will be so pretty hanging up around the house and it'll be fun to change them seasonally. My plan is to make a new limited edition grouping every season.
Next, on to my illustrations!

I've always wanted to open an etsy shop to sell pictures, among other things. I'm always worried that my offering would be too much of a hodgepodge but I really think I may just be finding reasons to stand in my own way. I want to hear about how it goes for you!! Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteJulie, that's what I thought too, but then something just made me do it. I would LOVE to see a little you-shop! Let me know if you need any help!
