sale over at the o&a shop

My favorite part of this whole Etsy shop thing is the part where I get to package everything up all purdy and write secret thank you notes to my customers. I love reading the messages they've sent me, and the conversations we've gotten into as a result... whether we're talking about a common connection (Swedish heritage), or sheep, or discovering that we live half an hour away from each other.

The thought that now I get to make things with care that you can hold in your hands, no matter if you live near or far, is pretty awesome to me. It feels like this little blog is finally coming full circle. When I started it I had no intention of connecting it to a shop, but it's turned out that way and I like it.

It's seriously going to help us get somewhere with all that wool roving. In just one week I've earned about $60. The spinning wheel that the mill is going to sell to me costs about $360. That means I'm already 1/6th of the way there! (Thank you!)

So from now all the way through November, I'm offering you guys everything in the shop for 10% off in an effort to get mission-buy-a-spinning-wheel-and-finally-spin-three-year's-worth-of-yarn accomplished! Just enter BILLMURRAY at the checkout. I appreciate any and all help you can offer.

Take care, friends!

ps. Erin over at Garden and Grub did a very kind post about the package I mailed her. Take a look... and then keep looking at her blog because it's awesome and she and her husband use zipties and old pvc pipes like they're goin' outa style... just like us. ;)

pss. Our wedding. On Etsy. Whaa?

  1. How did I not know you had an Etsy shop? Well, it's lovely, and I'm glad I know about it now. I'm gonna add you to my circle... ;)

  2. Haha, I did JUST open it. ;) Thank you!! :)
