On a whim and inspired by a certain upcoming cookazine, I found myself in the kitchen quite a lot yesterday.
This tea is what came of that...
a few lemon slices
a lot of raw ginger, peeled and roughly sliced
red clover
some peppercorns
raw honey
sage leaves
(The teabag in the cup was from some pre-game tea, which is delicious but not as good as my new concoction!)

sounds deeeeelish.

I just came down with a cold and this sounds wonderful right now. New to your space and enjoying it very much.
ReplyDeleteMmh I agree, that looks like it smells good. I read somewhere, tea is like a hug in a cup :)

This sounds amazing, I love love love ginger! I'm getting back into the tea groove, after I completely overdosed on coffee to get me through last semester. Thanks for sharing, will definitely be making this. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha Julie, you're almost there!
ReplyDeleteJaimie, it totally does. But it tastes even better.
Katie, I'm so glad you are. Thanks for making yourself known. :) I hope you feel better soon though!
Anna, I love that! Wouldn't it be cute written on a mug?
Erin, I love it too. And a bagged tea I recently discovered as being a good pick-me-up coffee alternative is Yogi's Indian Spice. It's amazing with a splash of cream. :)
