an orchid from my aunt
tiny birdling footprints
a happily growing cactus
mystery plant from Jamie's dad
kuri squash seeds
remnants from dinner
desk kitten
squash haul
sheep crack
lone pinecone in the grove
bulbs sprouting in the flower bed
chartreuse and chocolate yarn
accidentally spinning onto the third spool
(I needed that one to ply it)
unwinding it onto a skein incorrectly
winding it back onto the bobbin
unwinding it correctly
(learning my lesson)
...and the big accomplishment of the weekend?
learning to make plied yarn
oh, and hosting Kate and Nick and their sweet puppy
even if I felt scatterbrained for a good while
forgetting how to host guests,
because isn't it a little nerve wracking?
first meeting people you admire...

Your camera is doing right by you, girl! Love these shots.
ReplyDeletepretty little things!
ReplyDeleteIs that with your new camera? it's pretty darn good :)
ReplyDeleteIt all looks lovely. I can't wait to move to Brittany this summer, start our garden and get chickens. I might need your and Kate's help!!
ReplyDeleteJulie, I am in love with it. End of story. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lili!
Hannah, it is and thank you. I am so blown away by the better quality.
Maelia, you will be so rewarded!! Anything you ever wonder, please ask. I can probably tell you a funny story about my own ridiculous mistakes and prevent you from making the same ones. ;)
