my sweet sister, Astrid

This post could also be titled, "how many baby toes can fit into one post?"

She is a joy. Calm, cuddly, smiley, drooly, and generally full of happiness and contentment. Lucky doesn't even begin to come close to an accurate word for how I feel about her. Having a sister in your twenties is hands down the best.

ps. Thanks for all of your sweet comments on yesterday's post! You should be ecstatic to hear that Pawnee did decide to become a lamb-mama after all. In fact, she stayed up all night with them in their makeshift nursery, nestled in the straw, playing Brahms to soothe their little ears.

pss. Yesterday Jamie and I crutched our ewes. All four are definitely pregnant. It shouldn't be long now. Although, I'm willing to wait another few weeks for the sake of meeting drawing deadlines. ;)

  3. Wow, she is really incredible. What an amazing opportunity to have a new sibling after becoming an adult yourself. I always thought that would be such a treat.

Corey Marie, thank you. I think so too. ;)

Alicia, infants are certainly amazing little people.

Sara, thank you! I never expected it growing up, but it is so amazing having perspective.
